Tuition and Fees

Costs Per Person

Tuition:   $3400 per course
 
Fees:   Some courses will include an additional $50 lab or materials fee, but most course activities are included in tuition. Please see course descriptions for lab/materials fee.

Visiting students are required to submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee upon submission of their registration form for CMC's Summer Session.
 
Meals:   A summer meal plan is not available. However, students may use cash or Claremont Cash to purchase meals at Claremont Dining Halls, the CafĂ© at Honnold-Mudd Library, and CMC's Collins Dining Hall.
 
Activities:   Registered students will be able to use CMS Fitness Center and  the Claremont libraries, for no additional fee.


Financial Aid

CMC will provide limited institutional financial aid to help defray the summer tuition expense for current Claremont McKenna students who are receiving institutional need-based financial aid during the academic year. CMC students (rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors) wishing to apply for summer financial aid should contact the CMC Office of Financial Aid to schedule a meeting at 909-621-8356 or finaid@cmc.edu. Current CMC students who are not receiving institutional aid may qualify for federal student loans and should contact the Financial Aid Office.  
 

Summer Session Housing

CMC housing will be available to students participating in the 2012 Summer Session. However, students are not required to live on CMC's campus. Housing costs are $195 per week.

Housing arrangements and room assignments will be handled by the CMC Dean of Students Office. Please direct roommate requests and any preferences or special needs to Assistant Dean James Nauls. Room assignments will be made in mid-May. All Summer Session students who live on campus will be placed in air-conditioned residences.
